we compression tested all cylinders, and although they were all ok, due to a leaky head gasket (oil down the outside) we removed the head ad completely rebuilt this too.

The head was fully stripped down, cleaned, de-coked and all sealing surfaces flattened.
The valves were removed, de-coked and polished in the lathe.
The valve seats were re-cut, and then the freshly polished valves were lapped into the nice new seats,black engine enamel was painted to the outside surfaces of the head to protect it.
The manifold was also treated to having all its gasket surfaces flattened and heat proof paint applied. The loader has also had a coat of jenolite and a coat of hammerite no-rust applied.
